Getting Ready to Go!

After a wonderful Christmas and time at home, I am finally getting somewhere in preparing for this "trip." Things such as filling prescriptions, finding electric current adapters, and purchasing a rain coat! My mom is helping me master more recipes so that I will be able to do some home cooking (especially from some of Grandma's cookbooks) in my Cork apartment. One other student from N.C. State is going to the same university in Cork, so she and I will be flying in together. We will hopefully arrive on the morning of January 4th (my cousin Kathryn's birthday!) and will thus begin our adventure. I don't know what to expect, and I know that's how I want it! Once I am settled and have Internet access (hopefully!) I will begin to update this blog and post some pictures. Cheers!
